Owner/Developer
Lisa is the founder and owner of Mayan Villas Resort. Her focus for Mayan Villas stems from her desire to bring the Mayan culture to the forefront of the Roatan experience while highlighting the natural beauty and resources within the community. Lisa's background includes more than 15 years of real estate acquisitions and development in the US and in Roatan. She has been doing business in Roatan for over a decade and is familiar with the processes and procedures of business on the island. Her background and experience is crucial to the overall vision, implementation and success of Mayan Villas Resort.
Project Manager/GC
Jerry is the Project Manager and the General Contractor responsible for overseeing and managing the construction and development of Mayan Villas. He has owned and operated his own company or been involved in construction for approximately 35 years. Jerry's expertise includes the construction and development of several multi-million dollar projects beginning with the initial process of drafting plans and clearing the construction site to the final details and delivery of a quality, turn key product. His "hands on" knowledge is critical to the seamless function of each process involved during the various phases of construction to create a superior product. Jerry has experience using ICF products in construction and believes in the benefits of ICF for insulation and wind tolerance. His knowledge base, his unyielding attention to detail, his enthusiasm for a quality finished product and his congenial approach to business are what set him apart from other GCs and make him a key player at Mayan Villas Resort.
